The Claybourne Co. story
Claybourne Co. was co-founded in 2017 by Nick Ortega, Brent Barnes and Jonathan Griffith in Perris, in the Inland Empire east of Los Angeles. Everything comes from its own indoor grow, so the same team that picks the phenotypes also decides what goes into a jar or a pre-roll — and the brand has grown into one of the largest in California without leaning on gimmicks.
Two ideas made its reputation. Gold Cuts is the premium tier: a small share of the grow is reserved for above-and-beyond phenotypes, and only the best of those runs makes the line. Powerline is the original kief-infused concept — the Power Pack ships flower next to a gram of kief and a little shovel so you mix your own, while the Power Stack does the mixing for you.
Claybourne was one of the three brands on the sign the day Nature's Story announced its August storewide sale, and it has been on the shelf ever since.
